चैत्र २२, २०७२- बलिउड अभिनेत्री प्रियंका चोपडाका पूर्व व्यवस्थापकले प्रियंकाले तीनपटक सम्म आत्महत्याको प्रयास गरेको र आफूले उनलाई रोकेको दावी गरेका छन् । टिभी अभिनेत्री प्रत्युषा बनर्जीले आत्महत्या गरेलगत्तै प्रियंकाका पूर्व व्यवस्थापक प्रकाश जाजुले ट्विटरमा २००२ मा प्रियंकाले यस्तो प्रयास गरेको खुलासा गरेका हुन् । उनले भनेका छन्, ‘प्रियंका अहिले धेरै बलियो व्यक्तित्वजस्तो देखिन्छिन् तर पहिले त्यस्ती थिइनन् । उनका त्यसबेलाका प्रेमी असिम मर्चेन्टकी आमा मरेपछि उनीहरुको सम्बन्ध बिग्रिएको थियो । उनीहरुको हरेक दिनजसो झगडा पथ्र्यो । उनी बिहान २ बजे मलाई फोन गरेर रुन्थिन् ।’ प्रियंकाले आफूलाई तलब नदिएको बताएपछि प्रियंकासँग जाजुको सम्बन्ध बिग्रिएको थियो । पछि प्रियंकाका पिताले जाजुले प्रियंकाको निजी जीवनमा दखल दिएको भनेर प्रहरीमा उजुरी गरेपछि जाजु दुई महिनाजति प्रहरीको हिरासतमा परेका थिए । प्रियंकाकी आमाले भने जाजुको दावीलाई झुटको संज्ञा दिएकी छन् ।

Apr 4, 2016- The industry is mourning the death of TV star, Pratyusha Banerjee. While everyone is still reeling under the shock, news of a superstar trying to commit suicide during her struggling days has surfaced. The superstar in question happens to be none other than desi girl, Priyanka Chopra, claims PC's ex-manager, Prakash Jaju.
With a parallel career in Bollywood and Hollywood, Priyanka Chopra is a renowned international star. The former Miss World has only impressed us with her acting chops over the years, garnering millions of followers from around the world. However, according to PC's ex-manager, Priyanka was very vulnerable during her struggling days. "PC may look very strong now but she was also very vulnerable in struggling days, tried to commit suicide 2-3 times but i managed to stop her," he tweeted.
He also went on to mention that Priyanka and her alleged former boyfriend, Aseem Merchant, kept having frequent fights and that PC would cry and call him up at midnight. He went to allege that once after her fight with Aseem, Priyanka drove to Mumbai's Vasai area to commit suicide, and that he managed to convince her to not do so. He further tweeted that Priyanka, who was very close to Aseem's mother, tried to jump off the building after his mother's death in 2002. He also wrote that Priyanka was then tied to a chair until grills were fitted on all the windows of the flat.
